    China’s central bank injected $16bn liquidity into the financial system on Thursday as stocks in Japan, Australia and Korea regain some lost ground

    China’s fragile stocks have opened weaker after Wall Street struck its lowest levels since 2014, though the main markets around Asia Pacific bounced back after heavy losses the previous day.
