    Japan’s finance minister says calm returning but signals readiness to intervene in currency markets, while analysts point to signs UK recession is being priced in

    Britain’s decision to leave the EU continued to reverberate around the Asia-Pacific financial markets on Tuesday as some analysts warned that global markets were bracing for a full-blown recession in the UK.

    By mid-morning Japan’s Nikkei share index had lost all of the modest gains made on Monday, falling more than 2% in the first two hours of trading.
