FXStreet (Córdoba) - Chicago Fed President Charles Evans said the Fed should hike rates more gradually than what the forecast envision. He sees inflation slowly reaching 2% within the next 3 years, but he is “less optimistic about the inflation outlook than most of my colleagues”. Evans stated that rates equal to 1% at the end of 2016 will support the bank’s inflation goal. He said he is a little nervous about relative strength of US dollar.
