Fed's Williams on the wires - mixing up sentiment

    FXStreet (Guatemala) - San Francisco Federal Reserve head John Williams how is voting member is speaking and has offered a series of key comments in respect of Global divergences and the risks that lie within with the Fed taking action, leaving differentiating tones from Fed members so far this week.

    Williams expects rates at the end of 2016 to be higher than today, but said it may not take much of a shock to return US rates to zero. In respect to the value of the dollar, he see's pros and cons of a strong dollar to the economy. In respect to inflation, he says that changes to measure may need to be made. He said the Dec meeting is not just about the rate decisions , but the path ahead.
