Iran said it will consider freezing production after the output has been boosted to 4 million barrels per day. “They should leave us alone” until then, Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh said, according to the Iranian Students News Agency. Iran currently produces 3 million barrels per day and plans to boost output by 1 million barrels a day this year after international sanctions on its oil industry were lifted in January.
