    Bond Investments by Japanese abroad decreased by 1261.50 billion yen in the week ending October 3 of 2015. Foreign Bond Investment in Japan averaged 163.27 percent from 2005 until 2015, reaching an all time high of 2178.70 percent in August of 2010 and a record low of -3072.50 percent in April of 2015. Foreign Bond Investment in Japan is reported by the Ministry of Finance, Japan. In Japan, foreign bond investment refers to bonds issued in a domestic market by a foreign entity in the domestic market’s currency. The net data shows the difference of capital inflow and outflow: A positive difference indicates net sales of foreign securities by residents (capital inflow); while a negative difference indicates net purchases of foreign securities by residents (capital outflow). It excludes Bank of Japan.
