    There are ways to ensure your nest egg is not hit too hard in volatile times, and one is to be aware of how your super is tracking and how you can improve on it

    Another stock market dip has sent shivers up many investors’ spines the world over, as global stocks fell to a two-year low and Australia’s share market saw $56bn in value wiped off the board. The heavy dip is the latest in a string of fluctuations in response to mounting concerns about the Chinese economy.

    So what does all this mean for your superannuation? Given a large bulk of Australian super funds are invested in shares, it pays to be aware of how your super is tracking and where you can improve on it.
