FXStreet (Delhi) – Research Team at Nomura, notes that the Black Friday sales have been distorting the UK’s seasonal factors, causing a surge in sales during November.

    Key Quotes

“We expect partial payback for this in December. The extent is likely limited by Cyber Monday falling into the December survey period, which starts on 29 November, like the previous year when growth stalled rather than reversed. A larger rise in 2015 means we see more room for downside this time though, so we forecast a fall of 0.3% m-o-m. This would roughly return the level of sales to its trend from the past year.”
