    Manufacturing Production in the United States increased 1.40 percent year-on-year in September of 2015, following an upwardly revised 1.8 percent rise in the previous month. Yet, on a monthly basis, factory output shrank for the second straight month by 0.1 percent as production of durable goods moved down 0.2 percent while production of nondurable goods was unchanged. Manufacturing Production in the United States averaged 3.93 percent from 1920 until 2015, reaching an all time high of 67.90 percent in July of 1933 and a record low of -39.40 percent in February of 1946.
