FXStreet (Guatemala) - Richard Franulovich, analyst at Westpac explained that the balance of US data in recent weeks has been weaker than expected. Our US data surprise index may be close to its nadir.

    Key Quotes:

"Today’s ADP employment report was encouraging but the balance of US data in recent weeks has in fact been weaker than expected.

Notable misses in recent weeks include the ISM, Chicago and Philly PMIs, construction spending and pending/existing home sales.

Record mild December weather conditions are likely to “flatter” a number of key releases in coming weeks."
